Steam Compatibility
So i guess that we have all heard that Steam will be compatible with Mac OS'.
Does this mean majority of Steam gamers will switch over to their Macs?
I own Windows XP, and i personally prefer any type of software that is made by Microsoft over Apple.
Windows XP never failed me yet, but i heard Macs are reliable and really good.
The only thing they can't do is right-click.
I just want to know, how much of you guys own a Mac, or have played games on a Mac?
Do you prefer Windows over Mac Os?
Please tell me your thoughts.

Re: Steam Compatibility
Ahh....If Steam fails on Mac OS, that would be bad for their name. But i doubt that would happen. Beta testing will probably take place.

Re: Steam Compatibility
Hello Everyone,
I have a Mac and a PC and if Steam comes to the Mac i believe that steam-community will grow exponentially becuase Mac lacks games. Plus think about all those people who have never played Half Life 2, Steam will probably make a good couple of millions of just that old game not including the very famous Left 4 Dead.
I can't wait for Mac Steam.
Sincerely,
Javier C.

Well, to my beliefs, they wouldn't need to make updates for every game, for most or all games you listed use the Source engine. They would need to update the source engine.

Re: Steam Compatibility
Hello Everyone!
And why is that wrong? Steam would add more features to the Steam engine.
Sincerely,

Hello Everyone!
I used system benchmark tools before and the results were very vaugue. Best tool i found it Futuremark. Suggest you give it a try and see what your score is.
Futuremark does an actual graphics and processing power test and based on that gives a score.

Javier C.
