You are all idiots. There was a fucking link to one of the phinishing sites on the fucking group community page. Why are you alerting me? This shit happens all the time. Every week I get invited to a chat. And its some guy avetising his phinsing site.

why do you think that its impossible to hack into a steam account??? people thought MAC's were immune to virus' but they aren't. my old account was hacked and when i got it back it was VAC banned. face it, it is possible and there are many ways to do it without the username and pass of someones account. its just a rare occurrence.

I don't think so. It is possible to be logged in the same account in two computers, just as long as your not playing games (i think). Haha, and Ryic is right, i usually say "Hai" or talk to someone about banning a minge. lol.
BTW, you CAN get hacked not just by a website, they can easily Bruteforce your password if you have an easy one, or they can create some scripts that find your Steam Login Info.

You cant be logged on the same account in two computers at all. The first one gets connected or the second one jsut can't connect at all ( trust me i tried this is why i created a new account.) But yeah maybe scripts may work but isn't like if you enter the wrong password you get blocked for an hour or something?

I don't know...This is really unlikely, but maybe the hacker was waiting for me to get offline? And as soon as i did, i logged in? Wtf? Maybe my STEAM CHAT (FUCKERS AT STEAM!) Was down for like 5 minutes and then came back up with another person using my account. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE TOUCH MUY ACCOUNT!!

The only thing I can think of is a Rootkit, Nasty buggers. bruteforcing would take over 200 Million Years.

How about we all try not to download any exe files that are remotely related to steam if we don't know that they are valid.
That's the only way you can lose a steam account.
It's impossible for someone to brute force you account, the only other way to lose your account would be someone going to your computer in person and putting a key logger on it.

There something you need to know. my password isnt that hard at all. bruteforce works for EVERYTHING. and who knows, maybe i recently downloaded a Lua Virus from Garrys Mod Addons? There are so many possibilities.
